How to prep an apartment for a move-out clean

Move-out cleaning works best when the unit is empty. Cabinet fronts, counters, fixtures, and floors are easier to finish when furniture is gone and belongings are packed.

Share access details when you book: lockbox, doorman, building staff, or a neighbor. If keys go through our office, they are stored securely and issued only for the scheduled visit.

Tell us about extras before the appointment. Oven interiors, fridge interiors, and similar requests are quoted with the job so the team is not guessing on walkthrough day.

You do not need to be home. Many renters leave after the last box goes out and review the checklist later. If something is missed, tell us within 24 hours so we can review the concern.
